Bulldogs Lose: 2 - 3
The Grandville Varsity Volleyball team opened up their first OK Red Conference Match against Grand Haven at home. Falling to the Bucs, Grandville played a tough match, not letting Grand Haven take the match without a fight. Grand Haven started off strong taking the first two sets 25-20, 25-20, but Grandville fired back taking the 3rd and 4th set from Grand Haven 26-24, 25-23. It came down to a close fifth set with Grand Haven pulling off the win with the final score 15-13. Grand Haven is currently ranked 9th in the state for Division 1. Grandville is 0-1 in the Ok Conference and will face off at home, Sept. 26 against East Kentwood. Come out and support your lady Dawgs.

Grandville finished strong for the day after a second place finish over all falling to a tough Coopersville team in the finals. Grandville finished 5th out of 16 teams out of pool play, with wins against Spring Lake and Cedar Springs, and splitting with Forest Hills Eastern. Grandville matched up and defeated Holland Christian and West Catholic in brackets before falling to FHC. Every win today we battled, fought and never game up on. These wins were earned and well deserved. Coopersville was tough team and they should be proud that this match went to 3 sets. We continue to have a lot of growing to do, this team definitely has not reached it's full potential. We travel next saturday to Traverse City West.

Bulldogs Lose: -
Grandville traveled to EK, facing off against Grant and FHE in pool play. Defeating both Grant and FHE, we faced off against conference allies East Kentwood, , clenching the win and going undefeated for the day. Grandville is overall 4-6
Grant: 18-25, 25-17, 15-9
FHE: 25-23, 25-19
EK: 26-24, 25-13
Forest Hills Northern Quad

Grandville traveled to Forest Hills Northern to battled between FHN, EGR, and Catholic Central. Grandville ended up 1-2 for the evening pulling off the win against Catholic Central, but falling to FHN and EGR in two tough fought matches.
FHN: 25-20, 23-25, 12-15
EGR:
Catholic Central: 25-15, 25-21
Grandville is now 1-6

Grandville Varsity battled against some of the top volleyball programs in the state of Michigan such as Lowell and Novi.
Grandville finished 0-4 for the day.
Lowell: 19-25, 11-25
